Saved Lyrics Database

SmartLyrics handles saved lyrics using a simple DataTable saved as XML and separate text and image files. The DataTable (usually referenced as a database) acts as an index for all saved lyrics and contains other info such as track title, album, artist, header and cover URLs, Genius ID, etc.

All those files are stored in the app's 'files' folder inside Android/data/{packageName}. The DataTable is stored on disk with the name .lyricsdatabase as an XML file. Lyrics are HTML encoded and stored as .lyrics files, while the header and cover images are stored on the imagecache folder with the ID suffixed with -header or -cover and .jpg extension.

Songs with Japanese language content that have been romanized are saved together with un-romanized info. Title, artist, album and other info are stored in the Romanized variable inside the DB entry for the song, while lyrics are stored in a different file with the extension .romanized (changeable through Globals.cs)
