• Preserve open todos when steering queued messages so the replacement turn reconciles work instead of marking it failed
• Stop repeated todo continuation summaries by continuing the original task without interim recaps and halting on no-progress iterations
• Route manual compaction through the canonical generation-parameter builder, preserving temperature precedence and stripping unsupported empty values
