Advanced History v1.0.2
Version 1.0.2 improves chart settings, bookmark restoration and protection against accidentally discarding unsaved charts.
Unsaved chart protection
Advanced History now uses Home Assistant’s native confirmation dialog before unsaved chart changes are discarded.
- Clearing a new chart offers Create bookmark or Clear.
- Clearing a modified bookmark offers Save or Clear.
- Loading a bookmark while a new chart is open offers Create bookmark or Don’t save.
- Switching from a modified bookmark offers Save or Don’t save.
- Removing the final target uses the same confirmation flow.
- Unchanged bookmarks can still be cleared or replaced without an unnecessary warning.
Graph settings
- A single graph now has its settings cog inside its graph header.
- The redundant global settings cog has been removed.
- Integration-wide defaults remain available from the Advanced History integration configuration page.
Bookmark restoration
- Fixed an intermittent race when loading a bookmark from an empty panel.
- The graph now reliably receives the bookmark’s saved date range.
- The date picker and displayed graph no longer disagree until the page is refreshed.
Interface fixes
- Fixed slight clipping on the right side of Home Assistant’s native Add target button.
Updating
- Update Advanced History through HACS.
- Restart Home Assistant.
- Hard-refresh the browser if the previous frontend remains cached.
