Wallpaper mode

A fullscreen, auto-advancing wallpaper slideshow for your library, built for the TV remote.

  • Photo and video modes: stills crossfade on a dwell timer, clips play with their original audio
  • Reliable crossfade on webOS, no black frames when photos load mid-show
  • Cover crop that keeps faces in frame
  • Shuffle across the whole library, weighted toward favorites
  • Background music from internet radio, with a genre selector (Ambient, Lofi, Jazz, Classical)
  • d-pad control bar, bottom-right: play/pause, shuffle, music, and dwell speed (10s / 30s / 5m / 10m). Up opens the bar, Up again reaches the genre pills, Down steps back, Down again exits
  • Controls auto-hide when idle

  • Per-view sort toggle for oldest / newest ordering
  • Live-play and video-quality preferences now persist
  • Fullscreen overlay auto-hides after 5s
