Description

Seems to happen when changing weapons while fighting mobs. The prior weapon animation continues regardless of changes and can persist until quit/restart.

server is using SatUp and BetterMoisture

None of them are anywhere near the animations. See also 3459 which seems related.

I should also clarify that the animated motion continues despite allowing changes to what is held or empty hands. So, everything adopts the axe chopping motion if that's the one that got stuck.

There are similar issues if:

• currently held tool breaks before the animation finished
• player dies mid-way through an animation

Would be great to have a video or reproduction steps for this.

For now i have fixed stuck animations on tools when their durability reached zero, but I'm unable to reproduce other stuck animations

I saw the issue at random moments so the circumstances and prior steps are not obvious until too late. I will watch for future occurrences.

This happens to me somewhat frequently on 1.19.3. Restart of client fixes.
Have not noticed particular steps that lead to it happening. The most recent that comes to mind is the shivering animation.
