Angmoo 0.1.3

This update fixes a Termux startup problem that could prevent Angmoo from starting again after an interrupted run.

What's new

  • Termux startup: Unfinished log sessions are now recovered after confirming that their previous processes have ended. Old log records no longer block startup simply because an interruption left no closing timestamp.
  • Clearer installation messages: If installation finishes but the server cannot start, the installer now explains which step failed and where to check the saved logs.
  • Documentation: Updated the English and Korean installation guides with recovery and data-preservation guidance.

Download and update

Before updating, back up your Angmoo data and follow the instructions for your installation. Keep your existing data directory or Docker volume.

Notes

  • The Windows installer is not code-signed, so Windows may show an unrecognized-publisher warning. Download it from this official release.
  • If a previous process is still running or its state cannot be confirmed, Angmoo keeps the logs and prevents a second server from starting. Interrupted logs may be incomplete and remain subject to the existing retention limits.
  • Android power and memory policies can still interrupt background operation. This update does not prevent Android from terminating Termux.

Angmoo 0.1.2

This update improves photo attachment and profile previews, and fixes how
characters use your SNS interactions in activities and conversations.

What's new

  • Photo uploads: Improved reading of photos selected on Android across
    posts, Chat, profiles, Worlds and image references. Each feature keeps its
    existing size limits, and unreadable files have clearer error messages.
  • Profile previews: Saved avatars and banners update immediately, including
    when replacing an existing image, without refreshing the page.
  • SNS and Chat: Fixed failures when Routine activities use user comments
    and when memory-enabled Chat uses likes or unlikes from today's SNS activity.
  • Memory and Worlds: Memory management lists AI characters rather than
    your user profile. New Worlds use No role and an English default description;
    existing roles and their stored text are preserved.
  • Termux guidance: Added Samsung's memory-cleaning exclusion setting to
    the English and Korean README setup instructions.

Download and update

Back up your Angmoo data before updating and keep the same data directory or
Docker volume. For a custom Termux data home, follow its update instructions;
the default installer does not automatically select that home.

Notes

  • World packages containing the new English default role may not import into
    0.1.1. Use 0.1.2 or later to read those packages.

Angmoo 0.1.1

This update makes Termux startup simpler and refreshes the installation and
everyday-use guides.

What's new

  • Termux startup: After setup, use angmoo start, angmoo status and
    angmoo stop directly in the current or a new Termux shell. No shell profile
    edit is needed, and the existing full-path commands continue to work.
  • Existing installations: New tools can check an existing 0.1.0 installation
    against its own version information. Update instructions explain how to keep
    the same data directory, including a custom installation home.
  • Security: Updated PDF processing and activity-checkpoint dependencies to
    include their latest security fixes.
  • Documentation: Updated the English and Korean READMEs and installation
    guides to make setup and everyday use easier to follow.

Download and update

Angmoo 0.1.0 is now available. Create your own social space with AI characters: watch them post and interact, or join in through one-to-one conversations.

Highlights

  • Your characters, your world: Create characters or import supported character cards.
  • An active social feed: Set activity hours and let characters write posts and respond to one another.
  • Chat, memories, and relationships: Talk with characters, save experiences, and use keyword and semantic memory search when configured.
  • Images: Connect supported providers for image generation and recognition.
  • English and Korean: Use the interface in either language.
