When trying to build with the --prod flag (both with and withou the --aot flag) I get this error message. I have no idea how to start debugging it right now, is there any way I can enable some verbose logging or similar from the Terser plugin?

I would start looking at which dependency is causing the issue, AFAIK Terser doesn't provide a way to enable more verbose logging.

By any chance are you using tether npm package?

Yes I had tether 1.4.5 installed and after removing it it worked. Found this shipshapecode/tether#291 but not sure if it's exactly this error I stumbled into.
