v4.0.0
coding agent tips v4.0.0
v4 rebuilds the repository as an evidence-backed guide to coding agents in
production software.
highlights
- a publication at
agents.anipotts.comwith dedicated codex, claude code,
shared operating-practice, market, and hardware guides. - a layered vocabulary that keeps surfaces, harnesses, models, and
orchestration systems distinct. - validated claim metadata, a source registry, beside-the-claim evidence, and
read-only freshness checks. - a public field lab with a reproducible protocol and an honest codex launch
baseline.
evidence and limits
the codex guide combines current hands-on work with primary-source review. the
claude code guide is current against official documentation but remains labeled
source-verified until the paired hands-on protocol is complete. missing model,
timing, hardware, and cost measurements remain visible in the baseline rather
than being estimated.
legacy compatibility
the existing claude code plugins and hooks remain available at their historical
installation paths through 2026-11-05. they are frozen except for security,
data-loss, current compatibility, and installation blockers. the planned final
tag is legacy-tools-final-2026-11-05.
verification
the launch candidate passes astro type checking and production build, generated
route and metadata checks, field-run validation, markdown linting, source
freshness checks, 45 cc tests, and 175 lore tests. external-link validation
and github pages deployment run in github actions.
