SMS Forwarder v3.4.0 — Safety & Support Update 🛡️

Version 3.4.0 focuses on safety, reliability, and support. This release restores and strengthens critical loop-protection mechanisms, introduces a complete in-app documentation center, and includes several UI and background-service improvements.

✨ What's New

🛡️ Restored & Enhanced Loop Protection

• Persistent Loop Validation
  Fixed a regression where loop warnings could disappear if the system was unable to read SIM information. Once a forwarding loop is detected, the red warning remains visible until the target phone number is corrected.

• Runtime Safety Guard
  Added an additional engine-level safety check to the SMS forwarding system. If a message would be forwarded back to its own sender, the operation is automatically blocked as a final line of defense against forwarding loops.

• Improved Visual Safety Indicators
  Restored high-visibility red borders and warning states for rules containing loop errors. Rules flagged with a loop error are now automatically disabled to prevent accidental forwarding.

📦 Installation & Upgrade

1. Download SMS_Forwarder_v3.4.0.apk from the Assets section below.
2. Install the APK on your Android device.
3. If upgrading from a significantly older version, re-check your Monitor SIM settings. Newer versions use more reliable Android Subscription IDs for SIM identification.

Important

Android manufacturers may apply additional battery optimization or background execution restrictions. For reliable SMS forwarding, ensure SMS Forwarder is allowed to run in the background and is excluded from aggressive battery optimization where required.

📦 Installation & Setup

1. Download the SMS_Forwarder_v3.4.apk from the Assets section below.
2. Enable "Install from Unknown Sources" in your Android settings then temporally disable "Play Protect" From Play Store. You can re-enable them after the app is installed.
3. Grant RECEIVE_SMS and SEND_SMS permissions to enable the forwarding engine.
4. Important: For reliable forwarding, please exclude the app from "Battery Optimization" via the prompt on the home screen.
