Install

macOS (Homebrew)

brew tap anishfyi/tap
brew install --cask pawse

macOS (direct) — download the .dmg below, drag Pawse to Applications. First launch: right-click → Open (unsigned build).

Windows — download the .exe from a future tagged build, or build from source. If SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway.

What's in it

  • Real golden retriever footage (packed-alpha video, WebGL recomposited) with a procedural 3D dog fallback
  • Translucent break overlay with a thought bubble
  • Custom intervals or fixed daily times, ESC-hold escape hatch, local-only mood log
  • Zero network access — nothing leaves your device

This is an Apple Silicon (aarch64) DMG. Universal/Intel and Windows builds come from the CI release workflow.
