This update expands ANKOCHI MOD VAULT for players using localized versions of The Sims 4.

New languages

The application now supports:

• English
• Русский
• Français
• Deutsch
• Español
• Português (Brasil)

• 한국어

First-launch language selection

A new language selection window is displayed when the application is launched for the first time.

ANKOCHI MOD VAULT automatically suggests a language based on the Windows interface language. The selected language is saved and can be changed later inside the application.

Improved game folder detection

Both the portable application and the installer can now automatically detect localized The Sims 4 folders, including:

• The Sims 4
• Les Sims 4
• Die Sims 4
• Los Sims 4
• Os Sims 4
• I Sims 4
• The Sims™ 4

The application also searches inside the Electronic Arts directory for any valid game folder containing a Mods directory.

This improves compatibility with:

• localized game installations;
• OneDrive Documents folders;
• relocated Windows Documents folders;
• installations stored on another drive.

Beta notice

This is a beta release.

Some new translations may still require corrections from native speakers. Please report incorrect wording, interface problems, or folder-detection issues through Nexus Mods, GitHub, Patreon, or email.

Updating

You may install this version over the previous installed version.

Portable users should extract the new archive into a separate folder. Do not overwrite an active portable folder containing personal configuration files without making a backup first.

The first public beta release of ANKOCHI MOD VAULT — a backup, rollback, and diagnostics manager for The Sims 4 Mods folder.

Main features

• full baseline backup of the Mods folder;
• fast rollback points without copying the entire collection again;
• restoration of a selected state;
• safe quarantine for new and modified files;
• undo for the latest rollback;
• Mods-folder diagnostics through MOD DOCTOR;
• ANKOCHI Sentinel in-game notifications;
• localthumbcache.package cleanup;
• update checks through GitHub;
• Russian, English, Spanish, and Chinese interface languages.

Important

This is a beta release. Keeping an independent backup of important files before first use is recommended.

Mod installation through MOD DOCTOR is not included yet and will be added in a future update.

System requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11;
• The Sims 4;
• enough free space for the initial full backup.
