Description
Description
In OpenCode Desktop v1.15.12 on Windows, the button/action for opening the current folder in the operating system file explorer seems to be missing from the file explorer UI.
Previously, there was an option/button to open the selected/current folder directly in the file system. In v1.15.12 I can no longer find this action in the Desktop UI.
This makes navigation less convenient because I have to manually locate the project/folder in Windows Explorer instead of opening it directly from OpenCode Desktop.
Expected behavior
OpenCode Desktop should provide a visible action/button/menu item to open the current project folder or selected folder in the native file system explorer.
For Windows, this should open the folder in Windows Explorer.
Actual behavior
The button/action is no longer visible in the Desktop UI.
In the attached screenshot, the file explorer/tree is visible, but there is no obvious button/menu action to open the folder in the file system.
Plugins
No custom plugins are required to reproduce this issue.
OpenCode version
OpenCode Desktop v1.15.12
Steps to reproduce
- Install or update to OpenCode Desktop v1.15.12 on Windows.
- Open any project/workspace.
- Open the file explorer/tree panel.
- Try to find the action/button to open the current folder in the native file system explorer.
- Observe that the button/action is missing or not visible.

Screenshot attached below:
The screenshot shows OpenCode Desktop with the project/file tree opened. The expected “open folder in file system” action is not visible.
Operating System
Windows 10
Terminal
N/A — OpenCode Desktop app
Additional context
This looks like a UI regression in the Desktop app. If the action was intentionally moved, it would be helpful to make it discoverable again, for example via a context menu on folders/project root or a toolbar button.
