Steps to reproduce

BASIC | ECC INSTALLATION

1. git clone https://github.com/affaan-m/ECC
2. run cd ECC + npm install
3. run node scripts/ecc.js install --profile full --target opencode

OPENCODE | DESKTOP

1. open OPENCODE DESKTOP
2. type /init enter
3. Here goes Server Error please check the logs...

NOTE: it does affect on other /{commands} too, same issues..

This issue might be a duplicate of an existing issue. Please check:

• Plugin slash commands fail in Desktop app with "Failed to send command" — work fine in TUI #22255: Plugin slash commands fail in Desktop app — same symptom (slash commands work in TUI/CLI but fail in Desktop app) with a different plugin, same root cause suspected in the Desktop command dispatch layer.

Confirmed still present in v1.18.15 (reported via #41339). Verified end-to-end with a real plugin (magic-compact v1.2.2): same config works in CLI (command fires, backup session + summaries injected), Desktop passes /magic-compact 5\ and /magic-stats\ through as raw text. Plugin loads fine — it's the Desktop command dispatch path. Happy to test a fix build when available.
