When opening a project via GUI in different directories, issues may arise. #39605

Description

When I have a project, I might switch between Git branches, so I end up with two directories on my desktop containing the same project. Let's say the project is named "test"—directory A contains the "test" project under branch name1, and directory B contains the "test" project under branch name2. If I first add the "test" project from directory A to a session on my desktop, and then want to work on the files in directory B, I create a new session and add the project again, selecting the "test" location in directory B. However, I notice that the displayed branch remains name1.

Steps to reproduce

Try placing the same project in different directories; although the project name remains the same and the branch differs, if you create a new session for both projects in these two locations, you will find that only the location of one of the projects is added.
