I signed up for OpenCode 2 months ago when I read that they have EU hosted models.

Today, DeepSeek V4 stopped working and I had to Enable models hosted in China for it to work again. First of all, I appreciate the honesty and the fact that I now have to explicitly opt in to use models hosted outside the EU. But I also noticed that the OpenCode Zen Privacy section now explicitly states that all models are hosed in the US.

It would be nice if we could have some clearer documentation on which models are hosted where

especially because it's not clear if ZDR applies in this case of "Provider hosted in China".

It would be even better if such information could be shown from the app so users don't have to dig around the docs to find such information

Wanted to contribute to this one, tried request logging, but they all point to US/Canada thanks to cdn, even when i hit deepseek api directly. Sadge
