First release. Coding agent sessions on one machine can message each other across harnesses: Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, pi and OMP (oh-my-pi). A receiver that sits idle at its prompt wakes up by itself, reads the mail, does the work and replies.
What is in it
- An MCP stdio server plus a small wake adapter per harness. All state is plain files under
~/.harness-summit; no daemon, no network, no account. - Commands:
/sjjoin,/sllist,/srrename,/sggroup,/summit-send @name ...,/summit-bye(Codex uses$instead of/). - Identity follows the harness session: resume an old session and you are the same agent, with your name and mail intact.
install/doctorset up and check only the harnesses you name, with--dry-runto print the plan first.
Platforms
- Linux: every wake path tested live.
- macOS: tested live with Claude Code to Claude Code.
- Windows: CI only (build, typecheck and full tests on Node 22 and 24).
