Problem Statement
Based on the M365 connector documentation, you can revoke admin consent permissions to limit the scope of which Claude has access to. In our case we removed the sharepoint permissions Sites.Read.All and Files.Read.All. In testing we found that while this does prevent Claude from searching sharepoint files, it also prevents Claude from searching onedrive files.
Proposed Solution
I would like to see a fall back method for Onedrive search that solves this issue. There are existing permissions that allow it to access onedrive files via link, and there appears to be a fallback method using a onedrive specific endpoint.
