Extension Installation Failure: Claude Code Extension Not Available in Cursor Marketplace

Bug Description
I can't install the claude code extension in cursor. I can't even find it in cursor marketplace. I'm running cursor on ubuntu 25/04, with wayland (if it's related)

Same. Claude code extension can NOT be found on vscode/cursor extension marketplace!

Here is how to fix:

run
npm root -g
to find your claude code intallation installation

it will look something like this:
/home/usr/.nvm/versions/node/v20.11.0/lib/node_modules/

Now just open this directory on cursor and hit install like in the image and the claude CLI should recognize cursor as IDE (even tough the extension didn't appear for me)
