When selecting a Google Drive for Desktop folder (mirrored mode) in Cowork, the VM fails to mount it with a contradictory error — mkdir fails because "file exists" but the path also "does not exist."

What Should Happen?

When a Google Drive for Desktop folder is set to "Mirror" mode (files stored locally on disk), Cowork should be able to mount the ~/Library/CloudStorage/GoogleDrive-*/My Drive path successfully via virtiofs, since the files physically exist on the local filesystem. Additionally, users should be able to re-select or change their working folder mid-session without needing to start a new task.

1. Use Google Drive for Desktop on macOS (mirror mode)
2. Open Cowork and select the Google Drive folder
3. Mount fails with above error

Expected Behavior

Mirrored Google Drive folders should mount successfully since files exist on local disk.

Impact

Disrupts workflow — cannot access Google Drive files in Cowork session mid-task. No way to re-select folder during an active session either.

This is unique as i am not mounting any volume ( like SSD or external drive)

The same problem exists in Windows - it is OS independent.
