What's Wrong?

The cursor/caret is invisible in the input field, making it
impossible to see where you're typing. This is a basic functionality
that should work.

What Should Happen?

• Cursor should be visible and blinking
• Text should wrap properly

Error Messages/Logs

- CRITICAL: Basic text input is broken
- Cannot use the app effectively
- Have to copy-paste from other apps

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Code Desktop
2. Click on the input field
3. Start typing and send some promprs
4. After a few minutes using it notice cursor is not visible
5. Cannot tell where you're typing

i have this issue too, i'm on the latest CC 2.1.39 running within tmux on centos9, ssh'd from macos26.3 over iterm2.
