Feature: Push notifications for completed tasks in remote-control mode

Feature Request

When using Claude Code in remote-control mode via the Claude app, it would be great to receive push notifications when a task completes while the app is backgrounded.

Use Case

Running multiple Claude Code sessions via tmux with remote-control. Tasks can take a while to complete, and there's no way to know when they finish without switching back to the app and checking manually.

A push notification (iOS/Android/desktop) when the remote-controlled session finishes a task would make the workflow much smoother — especially when multitasking or running several sessions in parallel.

This is really useful! And I think it would be even better to make notifications switchable (e.g. You can turn on or off like a button, so that one session can stop pushing notifications when you are looking at it and other session can keep pushing notifications).

Confirming this on Android as well. The Claude app already supports notifications in regular sessions, but they don't fire in remote-control mode. Would be great to get a push notification when Claude finishes a response or a long-running background agent completes — especially useful when multitasking on mobile.

+1 — Running Claude Code via Remote Control on the iOS app, and when a long task finishes or needs input approval, there's no way to know without having the app open. Native iOS push notifications for these events would make Remote Control significantly more practical for background/async use.

You can add push notifications via a Stop hook that sends to your phone/desktop:
