Description

Voice mode has several reliability issues that make it frustrating to use:

1. Fails to start recording — voice mode sometimes doesn't begin capturing audio at all
2. Significant recording delays — noticeable lag before recording actually starts after activation
3. Random cutoffs — recording stops mid-speech unexpectedly

Environment

• Platform: macOS (Darwin 25.3.0)
• Claude Code CLI

Expected behavior

Voice input should reliably start recording promptly and capture the full utterance without cutting off.
