[BUG] Dispatch stuck on "Asleep" — can't reach desktop (macOS, Max plan)

• I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Dispatch has been showing "Asleep" status on mobile and displaying:

"Can't reach your desktop. Check that your computer is online and desktop app is open."

This was working fine until today (April 6, 2026). Nothing changed on my end.

What Should Happen?

Dispatch should show "Online" status on mobile and allow sending tasks to the desktop. This was working correctly until today — no configuration changes were made.

Error Messages/Logs

"Can't reach your desktop. Check that your computer is online and desktop app is open."

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude mobile app
2. Go to Dispatch
3. Status shows "Asleep"
4. Send any message → "Can't reach your desktop" error
5. Desktop app is open, Mac is awake and online

Confirmed Mac is awake and online
Claude Desktop app is open and running
Cowork/Code tabs visible in desktop app
Logged out and back in on both devices
Force quit (Cmd+Q) and restarted Claude Desktop
Restarted Mac
Force closed and reopened mobile app
Checked Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions
Re-toggled keep-awake and file access in Dispatch settings
No VPN or firewall blocking
Reinstalled Claude Desktop

Dispatch가 "수면 중(Asleep)"으로 멈추고 "데스크톱에 연결할 수 없습니다"라는 에러가 뜨면, 재시작·재설치·재로그인 다 해봐도 안 될 때가 있어요. 저는 Dispatch 대화를 삭제하고 새로 시작하니까 바로 해결됐어요. 디스패치 PC 앱에서 Dispatch 들어가서 기존 대화 삭제 → 새 대화 시작해보세요.

If your Dispatch is stuck on "Asleep" with the error "Can't reach your desktop. Check that your computer is online and desktop app is open" — and restarting, reinstalling, and re-logging in don't fix it — try this: delete the existing Dispatch conversation and start a fresh one. That fixed it for me instantly. Open the Dispatch tab on PC, delete the current thread, and start a new one.
