[BUG] Claude Desktop (macOS): Cowork and Claude Code tabs disappeared after working previously

What's Wrong?

The Cowork and Claude Code tabs were present and usable in the Claude Desktop app, but they suddenly disappeared. I’m on macOS 14.3.1 (Apple Silicon) and Claude Desktop version 1.3036.0. I already tried updating, quitting and relaunching, signing out and back in, and reinstalling, with no change.

This is a Claude Pro subscription.

What Should Happen?

Cowork and Code tabs should appear as the top menu

Steps to reproduce: Open Claude Desktop on macOS 14.3.1 (Apple Silicon) and look for the Cowork and Claude Code tabs in the left sidebar (they are missing).
