What's Wrong?

The Cowork tab does not appear in the Claude Desktop app. Only the "Chat" tab is visible. I am a Claude Pro subscriber and Cowork has never appeared since I first installed the app.

What Should Happen?

The Cowork tab should appear in the Claude Desktop app alongside the Chat tab, allowing me to use Cowork as advertised for Claude Pro subscribers.

I am not closing this issue. I have a unique environment configuration (Windows 11 Pro 25H2, Hyper-V enabled, Virtual Machine Platform enabled, clean reinstall attempted multiple times) and this issue has never been resolved for my account. Please keep this open.

Adding confirmed log evidence from related issue #51208. The root cause appears to be yukonSilver platform detection incorrectly flagging supported Windows 11 Pro 25H2 systems as unsupported. This bug has been reported since February 2026 across 8+ issues with no fix shipped. I am a paying Pro subscriber. Please do not auto-close — this needs engineering attention.

RESOLVED. The fix was enabling Virtual Machine Platform in Windows Features (separate from Hyper-V). Go to Windows Features → check Virtual Machine Platform → restart. Cowork tab appeared after reboot
