What's Wrong?

Summary
Claude in Chrome extension cannot be connected for users who signed up via Sign in with Apple with Hide My Email enabled. The magic link authentication flow is broken in Chrome.
Steps to reproduce

Create Claude account via Sign in with Apple using Hide My Email (@privaterelay.appleid.com address)
Install Claude in Chrome extension
Attempt to log into claude.ai in Chrome to connect the extension
Click "Continue with email", enter the @privaterelay.appleid.com relay address
Receive magic link email
Click or paste magic link in Chrome

Expected behaviour
Magic link logs user into claude.ai with their Apple ID account, extension connects to Claude Code.
Actual behaviour
Magic link is intercepted by Chrome's active Google session and redirects to the Gmail account instead of completing Apple ID login. Extension shows as disconnected. Workarounds (incognito, copy-paste URL directly) do not resolve the issue.
Impact
Claude in Chrome extension is completely unusable for this account type. No workaround available.
