iOS: send button unresponsive after entering an active Code session

Summary

On the Claude iOS app, the orange upward-arrow send button in the chat composer becomes unresponsive after entering an active session from the Code tab. Tapping the arrow does nothing — no message is sent, no error is shown, no network activity appears to occur.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Claude iOS app
2. Tap the Code tab
3. Start or open a session (or attempt to — see note below)
4. Type a message in the composer
5. Tap the orange upward-arrow send button

Expected

Message is sent to the session and appears in the conversation.

Actual

Send button is visually present and tappable (no disabled styling) but tapping it has no effect. The message remains in the composer.

Environment

• Device: iPhone
• iOS: 26.5
• Claude iOS app version: 1.260430.0
• Install channel: App Store (public release)

Notes

• Code tab currently shows "No sessions found." — unclear whether the send-button failure is related to the absence of an active remote session, or whether it persists once a session is established.
• Possibly related: Remote Control: frequent "unknown network error" and session drops when using iOS app #32664 (iOS remote control network errors), [BUG] Desktop App: Send button unresponsive in Code tab #33771 (desktop Code tab send button invalid).

Workarounds attempted

None yet — filing before further troubleshooting so the repro state is captured.

Still reproduces on the current App Store build.

Updated to 1.260507.0 (latest public App Store release) and the Code-tab send button is still unresponsive. Same behavior as originally reported — on iOS 26.5, Claude iOS app 1.260507.0 (App Store, not TestFlight): open the Code tab, type in the composer, tap the orange send arrow, and nothing happens (no send, no error, no visible network activity).

Confirming this is a current-version bug, not stale.

Additional data point: the GitHub-app workaround from #60483 does not resolve this for me.

Per #60483, installing the GitHub iOS app reportedly fixes the dead send button. On my device the GitHub iOS app is installed and signed in (same account that filed this issue), yet the Code-tab send button is still unresponsive. So the #60483 workaround does not apply universally; the GitHub-iOS-app dependency appears to be a false correlation in my case.

Environment unchanged: iOS 26.5, Claude iOS app 1.260507.0 (App Store, not TestFlight).
