Preflight Checklist
What's Wrong?
When using claude --remote-control, disconnected sessions accumulate in the
claude.ai/code UI with no way to delete or reconnect them. Each time a
connection drops, the user must create a new remote control session, and the
old one stays permanently listed as "Disconnected."
The only current workaround is archiving old sessions, which is cumbersome
when many accumulate and doesn't truly remove them.
What Should Happen?
- Ability to delete stale disconnected sessions from the UI
- Ability to reconnect to a still-running terminal that lost its remote
control link
Error Messages/Logs
Steps to Reproduce
- Start a CLI session with claude --remote-control
- Connect to it via claude.ai/code
- Let the connection drop (network interruption, terminal restart, etc.)
- Session appears as "Disconnected" in the UI
- Repeat — old disconnected sessions pile up with no way to clean them up
