[Bug] Claude hangs on certain bash commands in specific repository

Bug Description
IDK what the deal is, but with this particular repo/project, Claude gets hung up certain simple bash commands and just never returns. It's so frustrating. Probably been happening for 1 month plus now? Other repos are fine--just this one. I thought it was e2e (playwright) tests at first, but now I'm seeing it with beads (bd) and plain ol git commands.

For a repo-specific shell hang, I’d log the exact command, cwd, shell type, and the last emitted byte before the stall. A per-command watchdog with a hung after N seconds receipt would make it much easier to tell a deadlock from a long-running command or a prompt waiting on stdin.
