[BUG] Plan mode scrolling broken

What's Wrong?

When in plan mode, the plan is now an inner scrollable container making it impossible to scroll up to see Claude's thoughts on the last turn. I can see a couple lines of a previous reply at the top but can not scroll up. I can only scroll the plan itself.

Often when I reply to the plan, Claude will comment directly on the comments before updating and displaying the plan. I can no longer read that, effectively destroying the UX. I have to ask Claude to exit plan mode after each turn to read up.

What Should Happen?

I should be able to scroll up above the plan to see chat history

Using CC cli, in Plan Mode.

We chat, Claude makes a plan and displays it. I have some questions or feedback about the plan, I select "Tell Claude what to change" ... Claude thinks about my question and writes an answer. Then it immediately displays the Plan on top of that answer.

The plan has been updated based on the feedback, but for complicated plans it's not clear what has changed. It would be very useful to see Claude's original answer - to be able to scroll up past the plan, or tab between the chat and the Plan, or something.

This is so annoying. The amount of times I've had to escape plan mode, scroll up, read stuff, ask claude to exit plan mode to get the dialog back, wait for that, hope claude doesn't take my "let's exit plan mode" as a prompt to do something else (which happens), then finally exit... it's such a waste

I think I've found a workaround for this

💡 Press ctrl + o and then you can scroll up past the plan, then press ctrl + o when you're done to be able to interact with plan

this is it! i got the annoying blocked scroll and it gave me no option to read the plan. ctrl+o in and out works.
