[BUG] Claude Desktop macOS window stays always on top of other apps

What's Wrong?
The Claude Desktop main chat window stays on top of all other application windows. There is no setting in the app to disable this behavior.

Expected behavior
The Claude Desktop window should behave like a standard macOS window and not float above other apps.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Claude Desktop on macOS
2. Open any other application
3. Observe that the Claude window remains on top
   Workaround
   Minimizing Claude Window.

I'm experiencing the same issue on macOS. The Claude Desktop (Cowork) main window always stays on top of other application windows. For example, when I Cmd+Tab to Telegram or another app, that app opens behind the Claude window. Cmd+M (minimize) also doesn't always work.

There is no setting in the app to disable this behavior. Please make the window behave like a standard macOS window, or add a toggle such as "Keep window on top".

I am running into this issue too. Claude Desktop is always on top of all other windows on a Mac.

Ok after a day and a reboot all is working nice again. All windows functioning as should. Window PC
