Problem Statement

Add visual distinction between Chat Projects and Cowork Projects in sidebar
Description:
The sidebar lists Chat Projects and Cowork Projects under the same "Projects" section with identical visual appearance. There is no label, icon, badge, or section separator to distinguish them.
Current behavior:

Both project types appear identically in the list. The only way to determine the type is to open the project.
Problem this causes:

When a Chat Project and a Cowork Project share the same name (which happens naturally when users mirror their Chat project structure in Cowork), it is impossible to tell them apart from the list view.
Requested behavior:

A small visual indicator on each project entry showing its type — for example a label ("Chat" / "Cowork"), a distinct icon, or a section separator in the sidebar.
App version: Claude for Mac 1.15962.1

Adding another data point. Since the July 7 merge, I can no longer tell which of my projects run under Cowork and which sit under Chat. They now list together with no label or icon to separate them. This makes navigation harder, especially with multiple active projects. A simple tag or icon per project would fix this. Please prioritize this fix.

Same issue on Windows (app 1.30096.1, build 194d93, 2026-08-13).

In the left sidebar's "Recents / Discussions & tasks" list, every entry now shows an identical round bullet — chats and Cowork tasks look exactly the same. The typed icons only remain in the full "All conversations" view (with the type filter).

This is a regression: the sidebar used to display distinct icons for chats vs Cowork tasks, and that distinction is gone. Since the original report is on Mac (1.15962.1) and I'm on Windows (1.30096.1), this appears to be cross-platform and server/rollout-driven, not a local or version-specific problem.

This is blocking for day-to-day use: with many chats and tasks sharing similar names, I can no longer tell them apart at a glance in the sidebar. Please restore a visual indicator — a distinct icon, a "Chat"/"Cowork" label, or a section separator.
