AI commit messages
AI suggest in the commit box (or Ctrl+G) writes a message for the staged changes through the AI CLI you already have: claude, codex, gemini, ollama or llm, whichever is installed, or any command that reads a prompt on stdin. No keys or servers in gitgui.
git config --global gitgui.ai-command "ollama run qwen2.5-coder" # pick the tool (or $GITGUI_AI_COMMAND)
gitgui --probe | grep "AI command" # see which one is usedIn-terminal rendering needs cmux, Ghostty, kitty or WezTerm; anywhere else the same binary opens a desktop window. gitgui --probe says which one you have.
