Welcome to v2.6.0! This release brings read-offline to Spliit: your groups stay readable without a connection, and it sets the stage for full offline write, which will follow.

Spliit works offline

All your member groups remain available for read-only offline use: complete expense history with comments, balances, the member roster, subgroup assignments, split presets, budgets, group settings, and recent activity. This is the read-offline foundation for full offline write, which will follow. Downloaded history also opens instantly and merges new changes in place, so the app feels much faster on slow connections; unchanged groups are not re-downloaded, and balances warn when stale. You can also install Spliit as an app. Files, edits, and older activity beyond the downloaded window still need a connection.

🐛 Bug fixes

• Offline reads recover after connection failures, continue local pagination after disconnecting, and fence cached data against stale sign-in checks (96feb8a3 by @antonio-ivanovski)
• Account settings toggles that need a connection are now consistently disabled offline (96feb8a3 by @antonio-ivanovski)
• Create expenses by voice again: recordings no longer fail with a processing error (f311f3b8 by @antonio-ivanovski)
• The signed-out landing page no longer jumps back to the top while loading (8d556905 by @antonio-ivanovski)

• The CSV importer detects Cost-like amount columns instead of blocking on equally-plausible balance columns, and unresolved column confirmations now show a prominent alert with a confirm action instead of silently disabling Continue (32789e9b by @antonio-ivanovski)
• The dashboard People tab now combines imported-group and one-on-one balances for the same person — including pending email invites — and keeps offsetting groups visible instead of cancelling them out (b5e52988 by @antonio-ivanovski). Thanks @natekspencer for opening #153
