SSH failures are classified into stable codes (SSH_CONFIG_INVALID, SSH_KEY_INVALID, SSH_CONNECT_FAILED, SSH_TIMEOUT, SSH_AUTH_FAILED, SSH_HOST_KEY_MISMATCH, SSH_FORWARD_FAILED, SSH_CONNECTION_LOST) with SSH-named messages and, where the cause is
determinate, a hint pointing at the PG_SSH_* setting to fix, so the model can tell a bastion
outage from an auth or host-key problem. A PostgreSQL error through a healthy tunnel keeps its own code.
PG_SSH_FINGERPRINT format is validated up front: a malformed value reports SSH_CONFIG_INVALID
instead of an ambiguous host-key mismatch. README documents how to obtain the fingerprint.
Fixed
Error hints preserve PostgreSQL's own server hint when present, and no longer overstate the cause: 57014 reports a canceled query (not always a timeout), and 25006 reports a read-only transaction
without presuming PG_ALLOW_WRITE is the fix (it may be a replica or a server default).
bin path no longer carries a ./ prefix and repository.url is git+-prefixed, so npm publish
emits no auto-correction warnings.
