v0.99.34
Fixed
- Signed peers behind a TLS-terminating proxy were admitted but served
nothing. 0.99.33 said a peer hub's or Fleet follower's signed log pull
works behind such a proxy. It did not.- The signature got the registration admitted, but the hub serves its log only
to a serving grant, and every grant required the peer's live client
certificate, which the proxy removes. - The refusal is an empty snapshot, the same shape as "no new events", so a
follower reported success and mirrored nothing. - Grants can now name an identity key (below), and the deployment, CLI and
multi-hub docs now describe the requirement correctly.
- The signature got the registration admitted, but the hub serves its log only
Added
- Serving grants proven by an identity key. A
--multihub-serving-policy
grant may name anidentity_key_id.- A registration the hub verified against its
--identity-trustbundle under
that key, for that grant's sender, then stands in for the client
certificate. - The federation checks, the event-signature check and the ACL still apply.
- One grant covers log pulls and forwarded claims, messages, operator relays
and dead-letter forwards. - The hub must run with
--require-identity-binding, and the bundle must bind
the key, unrevoked, to the sender. Otherwise the hub refuses to start. - A trust-on-first-use key never satisfies a grant.
- Grants without the field are unchanged.
- A registration the hub verified against its
