AnyaDance v0.0.6 adds synchronized background audio for MMD dances, a complete Japanese interface and documentation set, safer localized UI layouts, and a visible version label tied to the GitHub release tag.
Download and install
Download AnyaDance-v0.0.6-windows-x64.zip below and extract the complete anyadance folder to a permanent location. Do not run AnyaDance.exe from inside the ZIP. A source checkout and local build are not required to use the release.
After opening AnyaDance.exe, acknowledge the safety notice, register the driver, and restart SteamVR. See the installation guide for the full procedure.
MMD background audio
- Load optional WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, or WMA audio from the MMD dance dialog.
- Set an audio start offset relative to motion frame zero. Negative values play an intro before motion starts; positive values delay the audio.
- When audio starts before the motion, the avatar holds the first motion frame. When audio continues after the motion, it holds the final frame until the audio finishes.
- Loop mode repeats the complete combined motion/audio interval, including intro and outro holds, so motion cannot loop independently beneath unfinished audio.
- Select and refresh active Windows audio output devices. The chosen device and offset are saved in UI preferences.
- Play, pause, resume, timeline seeking, stopping, device changes, and loop boundaries keep audio aligned with the dance transport.
Japanese language support
- Japanese is now available as a complete UI language alongside English and Simplified Chinese.
- The font atlas includes native Japanese glyph coverage while retaining Simplified Chinese support.
- Japanese translations are included for the README and every guide that previously had a Chinese version: architecture, building, device model, installation, MMD dance, protocol, and troubleshooting.
UI and release improvements
- The title bar and footer now show the build version. Official packages display the exact GitHub release tag, making an installed build easy to identify.
- Device-card labels, warnings, compact-mode names, and wrapped help text now stay within their layout bounds across supported languages.
- All README language versions prominently direct users to prebuilt GitHub Releases instead of implying that the repository must be cloned and built.
Existing .nya clips and the UDP protocol remain compatible. BGM is selected separately in the MMD dialog and does not change the .nya clip format.
