mypet v0.1.0 — first public release 🐾

First public release of mypet — a fluffy desktop cat that spends your Claude Code tokens.

Install

1. Download mypet-0.1.0-macos.zip below.

2. Unzip → drag mypet.app to Applications.

3. First launch: macOS will say "mypet cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified" — that's Gatekeeper for any app not signed with an Apple Developer ID.

   Workaround: right-click mypet.app → Open → click Open. After that, double-click works normally.

   Or via Terminal: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/mypet.app

4. mypet lives in your menubar — look for the paw 🐾.

Requirements

• macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
• The claude CLI on your PATH (mypet uses your existing Claude Code login)

• 10 hand-rendered 3D kitten states + 1 mascot cookie
• Click-through window — single clicks pass through; only double-click feeds
• Sleep progression: 5min sleepy → 15min dozing → 30min sleeping
• Menubar Snap-to-edge: top / left / right / bottom
• Locale-aware UI (English default, Chinese on zh-* systems)
• Click any tip bubble → copy to clipboard
• Zero CPU when idle
