Windows 1.0.2 adds offline Minecraft Launcher / Xbox app save support alongside Steam saves. Target game version: v1.1.1.0

Opening a save

  1. Click Open save and choose Steam or Minecraft Launcher.
  2. For Steam, select your character .sav file in the default save folder.
  3. For Minecraft Launcher, the editor finds the WGS account folder by the game ID after the underscore. If multiple accounts match, choose one. Select containers.index, then select your character. You can browse manually if the folder is not detected.

Save updates the opened save, including the WGS container for Launcher characters. Save as exports a separate .sav file; it does not create a new Launcher container. Automatic .bak files are not created.

Close the game before saving and keep a manual backup. WGS read/write, repeated saves, stale-save rejection and preservation of unrelated containers passed tests on a copied save. In-game loading of edited Launcher saves still needs testing. Server-hosted online heroes are not supported.

This Windows release keeps the existing UI. The redesigned UI is not included. Linux remains at 1.0.1, from the previous release.

Standalone save editor for Minecraft Dungeons II. Target game version: v1.1.1.0.

Download the separate Windows or Linux ZIP attached below. Extract it before running. The native Linux x64 build is a development preview for Bazzite and SteamOS Desktop Mode; testing on an actual Linux device is still needed.
