Usage: mvn clean verify -Pbuild-native-lib,assemble -DskipTests -Dfindbugs.skip -Dcheckstyle.skip

Two things are causing me heartburn:

  1. Can't bind to package because I can't figure out how to force the assembly to happen first
  2. How to ensure that the assemble profile was also activated (maybe just rely on error checking to make sure the tarball exists?)

5f88b2e does a slightly better job to at least error and print a warning when target or the tarball doesn't exist.
