Adding a link to the Airflow category of our web forum... Also, we're open to rebranding the forum as an official Airflow forum, will discuss on the mailing list. But until then it's nice for users to know there is an alternative place to ask questions besides Slack.

I believe this would go against vendor-neutral approach of ASF. I think it's not only about branding but about controlling the forum. This forum should not only be branded but also controlled and maintained by the community in order to be vendor-neutral IMHO. This might become part of the https://airflow.apache.org/ecosystem/ page where we have a clear disclaimer that those are not-community managed links.

But feel free to discuss it at the devlist @ry - maybe I am too strict with that.

As Jarek said, we should discuss it on the mailing list.

ok - backing down on this, closing this PR

hopefully we get Github discussions, though i do like the features of Discourse which we're using for the forum we run.
