unable to start couchdb as service: key "ebin" not found in map source(s)

Hello everyone, Good Day,
I'm Installing couchdb 1.6.1 on RHEL 6.8 environment.

start couchdb service, but second later stopped.

~]# service couchdb start
Starting couchdb: [ OK ]
]# service couchdb status
couchdb dead but pid file exists

found error message on /var/log/messages:
Apr 21 06:41:18 automount[12073]: key "ebin" not found in map source(s).
Apr 21 06:41:18 automount[12073]: create_client: hostname lookup failed: Name or service not known
Apr 21 06:41:23 automount[12073]: create_client: hostname lookup failed: Name or service not known
Apr 21 06:41:23 automount[12073]: get_exports: lookup(hosts): exports lookup failed for ebin
Apr 21 06:41:23 automount[12073]: key "ebin" not found in map source(s).

anyone can help?

That "ebin" error is your automount daemon, not couchdb.

If you run couchdb from the command line, what errors do you get?

Is there anything in your couch logfile?

Please note that v1.6.1 has security issues and should/must be upgraded as soon as possible,

Hello wohali, thanks for your response.
those error in the /var/log/message, are shown immediately after i run 'service couchdb start'
I open 2 terminals, one is running 'service couchdb start' and the other is tail the var log message.
so, that's why i think it is related. i try a few times, and always same.

no errors if i run it from command line,

~]# couchdb start

nothing in the couchdb log.

Closing this issues because there won‘t be any more CouchDB 1.x releases. If you experience this issue on current 2.x releases, please re-open it with additional information.
