@pjfanning The Splunk tests started breaking due to an update in the Splunk container version. I pushed a fix to some draft work I'm doing, but you might want to include it here. |

@cgivre I can understand requiring passing builds for most PRs but the CI build does not test this change. Would it be possible to merge this as is? |

@pjfanning We can merge as is. There is a separate PR to fix the Splunk issues. Would you mind reviewing that? |

ASF is worried about CI actions and CI pipeline attacks.
This job will get GitHub to raise PRs to update the CI actions.
Many ASF teams have switched to SHA instead of version numbers for actions. I don't know if ASF intends to make this mandatory. https://github.com/apache/infrastructure-actions
