What happened?

It does not remove the metric transformation when I uncheck it, it only removes the transformation I unchecked if I select another transformation.

what do you mean with uncheck? You don't make a new selection, but do what? ctrl+click?

If I select three transformations to view their metrics and then deselect one, the one that was deselected does not disappear.
