What is the difference between dbt OSI (metricFlow based ) vs Current OSI?

I've seen another OSI format website, which points to the dbt metricFlow.
and shows the Snowflakes as a partner here -> https://opensemanticinterchange.org/

But looking at the specs for this OSI, it's totally different from what dbt-metricFlow has. Which one is the latest?

And how are the downstream layers supposed to use these?
Like the first one, it has metricFlow to convert models to SQL and execute on the warehouse.
are we supposed to write our own converters?

Are snowflakes and dbt not aligned on same format, yet shows as partners?

The correct website is https://open-semantic-interchange.org/

DBT and snowflake are aligned on the same spec. Converters from OSI to dbt and back and similarly for other vendors are in progress.

Will this be the vendor's responsibility to write those adapters to transform into the OSI-supported format?
Or can individuals take a lead and contribute?

Absolutely anybody can take a lead and contribute. Everyone is welcome to create a PR on this repo.
