Is there a JIRA for enabling HBase to use of EC buckets?

For HFiles, it should work, but I am not sure anybody tried that yet. For WAL files, it is not easy as it needs hsync.
@jojochuang / @smengcl do you know if we tried EC for HFiles alone?
