Performance

• Fix hang on large text paste: The root cause was debug_log! formatting the entire 3.5M paste text with {:?}. Now logs only byte length and first 200 chars.
• Optimize insert_text() internals:
  • Use byte-level scanning in compute_end_position() instead of char iteration
  • Add ASCII fast path for chars().count() in insert_text/insert_text_at
  • Use Rc<str> for history records to avoid cloning large strings per cursor
  • Add timing instrumentation for insert_text and tree-sitter parse (logged when >10ms)

Fixes

• Multi-repo git support for non-git parent directories
• Prevent panic on visual dedent/indent when cursor is one-past-end
• Code formatting cleanup
