LiveScribe v0.1.1
LiveScribe v0.1.1 — Localization & Multi-Language Support
🌐 Localization
- Language picker (🌐 button in title bar) — select from 9 languages: English, Korean, Japanese, Ukrainian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic
- Full UI localization — all buttons, section headers, Settings labels, and status messages display in the selected language
- Instant switching — UI updates immediately when language changes, no restart needed
🗣️ Multi-Language Transcription & Summarization
- Auto model switching — distil-large-v3 → large-v3 when non-English selected (distil is English-only)
- Native-language summaries — fully translated system prompts ensure the LLM summarizes in the selected language
- Auto-translate to English — optional toggle appends an English translation to the summary without replacing the native language output
- Copilot CLI backend — rewritten prompts with backend service framing, preventing role confusion
🔧 Improvements
- Context window auto-scaling — Mistral Nemo 12B now uses up to 32K context, handling 4x more transcript text
- Transcript overflow protection — prevents segfaults from non-English text overflowing the local model context
- Copilot single-pass bilingual — when auto-translate is on, Copilot produces both languages in one call
- Settings preserves custom prompts — custom system prompts no longer get overwritten when changing languages
