In desktop app, open in VSCode kills existing VSCode window

Often I checkout a branch to review in VSCode, run Contexture desktop app. In app I click on Code icon to open the generated code in VSCode and it closes the existing VSCode to open our generated code.

This is not an acceptable solution. It should always open in a new VSCode or IDE window
