[Bug]: validation isn't deleted

Description

I've added a validation to an email field.
removed it.
Now it is always invalid.

Looking at the code I see

 "validation": "",

still there.
Deleting it fixes the issue

I tried reproducing it, since I'm doing something similar again.
deleting validation: "" apparently only works on type: TEXT
On type:EMAIL validation seems to be the default and can't be changed
